Shriners' Mickey Curtis visits Paulding-Rotary

rotary aug 2018Mikey Curtis of the Paulding County Shrine Club visited the Paulding Rotary club. Mr. Curtis explain some of the histories of the Shrine Club for the Rotarians and updated them with information on their upcoming charity golf tournament. Shriners are a brotherhood of men committed to family, engaged in ongoing personal growth, and dedicated to providing care for children and families in need. The organization is best known for the Shriners hospitals for children that they administer. Mr. Curtis also gave a brief history of the Shriners which were established in the 1870s. The Shriners are a fraternity separate from the Masons but comprised of Master Masons.
The Shriners Golf Tournament takes place August the 29th at the Creekside Golf Course in Paulding County charity money raised will benefit crippled and burned children and local families in need of assistance.
