Lots of smiles today at the Paulding County backpack event where we also completed the summer reading book distribution for area kids. Kids chose not only a new backpack loaded w school supplies, but chose at least two books supplied through our District grant. Science, history, fiction, and non-fiction books for grades 4-12 now have a new home! Thankful for the Interact club from Paulding County High School as well as for volunteering! We also enjoyed partnering with Paulding Family Connection and Get Paulding Reading to put a successful "bookend" on the Summer Reading for Learning and Leading project!
