$5,000 “Service Above Self” Scholarship

The Rotary Club of Paulding County is proud to offer a $5,000 scholarship to a Paulding County student who demonstrates character, leadership, and a commitment to service. Our scholarship reflects Rotary’s core value, Service Above Self, and seeks to recognize students who make a difference in their schools, churches, and community.

WHO SHOULD APPLY
Graduating seniors from any Paulding County high school planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree or equivalent who are actively involved in a civic organization, club, church, or service-based activity.
SELECTION CONSIDERATIONS

APPLICATION ESSAY PROMPT
Rotary’s motto is “Service Above Self.” Describe the community service work you have been involved in through church, community groups, athletics, clubs, or other organizations. Explain how this service has impacted you personally, how it has benefited others, and why service to others is important.
