Food insecurity is an issue on America’s college campuses and the students who attend Chattahoochee Technical College are impacted by this issue as well. This year, the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation and the Office of Student Resources are partnering together to create The Golden Eagle Cabinet, a food pantry for students. The Rotary Club of Paulding County stepped in and helped get the pantry started by making donations of food items, cash, and toiletries. CTC staff members, Amanda Henderson of the Foundation and Nickkie Warrington from the Office of Student Resources attended a meeting to thank members for their support. The Cabinet will officially launch in early 2020.
