This week Paulding Rotary welcomed new member Lateefah Conner. Lateefah was born in New York and raised in Atlanta and is the proud spouse of Dr. Chauncey L. Conner. In 2005 she left her job with the county government to help establish their dental practice, which she ran for 16 years. Prior to being married, Lateefah always had a dream of being in a successful business with her spouse. Her background in managing federal and state-funded programs help lay the foundation for her role as the CFO.
Lateefah attended Spelman College where she obtained her B.S. in Natural Science, and she also has a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree from Rutgers University. In addition to being a member of the Rotary Club of Paulding County, she is the Board Chair of the Kennesaw Public Safety Foundation, a member of Kiwanis Georgia Online, Paulding Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post 111 Auxiliary Unit, and serves as a board member of the Paulding County Boys and Girls Club. Lateefah enjoys being a wife and mother, walks in the park, art shows, theater, concerts (Journey fan), riding her Harley, traveling, and she has a passion for helping the homeless. Welcome, Lateefah!
