Saturday morning, November 11th, members of the local Paulding County Rotary Club gathered at Mulberry Rock Park, the new County Park facility on Mulberry Rock Road, to plant trees. Rotary Club members Sam Elrod of Elrod's Garden Center and Alan White of Griffin White Construction combined their resources with their fellow Rotarians to make a lasting contribution to the community for years to come. Paulding Rotary Club president John Grant liked the idea of planting trees that current club members might not see the shade of. In addition to Rotary Club members, UGA Extension Personnel Director, Mary Carol Sheffield joined in the labor to help plant the 9 Pecan trees, 6 Apple trees, 5 Mulberry trees, 3 Plum trees, 3 Pomegranate trees, 1 Loquat tree and 1 Persimmon tree along with over 40 Blueberry bushes.
