June 16th, 2018, Rotary Club member Jackie Crum, of the Ragsdale Inn, organized a cookout for Kindworks United. With the help of the Georgia Riders, the cookout and birthday celebration brought foster children together for a fun afternoon at Sara Babb Park. Rotary Club members grilled hamburgers and hotdogs as foster parents brought children together for the cookout. Unfortunately, sometimes siblings cannot be placed in foster care together and do not often get to visit with one another. Bringing these children together was the purpose of this cookout as well as to give thanks to those foster parents from Kindworks United who provide love and support to those who need it most.
