Paulding County Rotary Club president John Grant welcomed all visitors to the Rotary club meeting and asked Ford Thigpen to introduce the guest speakers. Ford introduced George Jones, the new Paulding County Department of Transportation Director and Scott Greene who is now the Director of Operations for the county.

Paulding County Rotary Club president John Grant welcomed Alec Smythe to the January meeting. Gov. Smythe is a member of the Buckhead Rotary Club and as per his duties serving as district governor is making the rounds to local clubs throughout Georgia. The Paulding County Rotary Club has been active in the local community since 1969.

Paulding County Rotary Club members welcomed Seth Bice to the January meeting. Mr. Bice is a Paulding County resident and a firefighter for Cobb County. After witnessing a successful rodeo in our neighboring County, Mr. Bice has been working to bring an annual rodeo to the Paulding County area.

Saturday morning, November 11th, members of the local Paulding County Rotary Club gathered at Mulberry Rock Park, the new County Park facility on Mulberry Rock Road, to plant trees. Rotary Club members combined their resources with their fellow Rotarians to make a lasting contribution to the community for years to come.

Paulding County Rotary Club members welcomed Bill Petitta and Stephanie Merling, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and part of Families Against Pornography to the Paulding County Rotary. Unfortunately, pornography is one that often goes unspoken. The Internet and its accessibility have forever changed the accessibility and visibility of pornography in our community.

Club member Jason Ragsdale. Mr. Ragsdale introduced and thanked our guest speaker, Mrs. Linda Verscharen. Mrs. Verscharen is the Executive Director for the Family Alliance of Paulding and has made time to share the progress of the Family Alliance here in our County.
