The Paulding County Rotary hosted KSU student and Georgia Rotary Student Program scholarship recipient, Celina Duong from Vietnam. Celina is a KSU freshman pursuing a Finance degree.
The Paulding County Rotary recognized the Alternative Baseball Organization for their service to special needs adults through local and regional baseball teams. These games are a valuable opportunity for adults to focus on physical and social skills growth through the hands-on authentic experience in all practices and games.
The Paulding County Rotary welcomed new member Candace Headrick Callaway. Candace currently operates Headrick Properties with her father, Willow's Planet Daycare and Academy, and is actively involved in real estate through the buying and selling process and property management. Candace happily lives in Dallas with her husband Patrick and their two rescue dogs, Cooper and Thief.
This week, our club hosted District 6900 Governor, George Granade. We heard a wide range of topics including an important update on District goals for this Rotary year, which include growing membership, supporting education, and the importance of agriculture in our district.
