Paulding Rotary welcomed new member Robert Owens this week at the weekly meeting. Robert Owens is a long-time resident of Paulding County. Born in Austell, Ga, Robert attended South Cobb High School and went on to attend West Georgia College in Carrolton, Ga to further his education by studying business administration. Robert has been in the construction industry since 1982 and is currently the vice president and COO of Midsouth Floor Systems.
This week Paulding Rotary welcomed new member Lateefah Conner. In addition to being a member of the Rotary Club of Paulding County, she is the Board Chair of the Kennesaw Public Safety Foundation, a member of Kiwanis Georgia Online, Paulding Chamber of Commerce, American Legion Post 111 Auxiliary Unit, and serves as a board member of the Paulding County Boys and Girls Club.
We explored new literacy initiatives and participation in the "Get Paulding Reading" program. We already have some enthusiastic volunteers. Including one of our newest members, Sandy Ransom, is leading this effort for our club.
