Fifteen Rotarians from the Paulding County Rotary Club and a number of their family members have just been awarded Paul Harris Fellows for outstanding support of The Rotary Foundation. A Paul Harris Fellow is given in recognition of a gift of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s charity.
Chairman Carmichael shared with the club many points of progress that have been made in our County and some that are very near to fruition. These projects include the Raccoon Creek Watershed, Richland Creek Reservoir and Dam, the Third Army Road Interchange, and the New Adult Attention In Law Enforcement Center.
The Paulding and Dallas Rotary Clubs were visited by their District 6900 Governor, Jim Squire. This year, Mr. Jim Squire is the District 6900 Governor and he has visited our local clubs to discover how we are impacting the local community and if there are any resources and opportunities that the district can provide to us.
Miss Gransbo is pursuing a degree in political science and is very active in many civic programs that include volunteering and fundraising. Miss Gransbo enthusiastically shared with the Rotary Club an explanation of the Swedish governmental structure including the social unity of her fellow countrymen that make it prosper.
