Mr. Kyle Chapman, an agricultural science teacher for East Paulding high school, accompanied by student Walker Scott took the time to visit the Paulding Rotary and share with the club just how much students are reaping from FFA.
Food insecurity is an issue on America’s college campuses and the students who attend Chattahoochee Technical College are impacted by this issue as well. This year, the Chattahoochee Tech Foundation and the Office of Student Resources are partnering together to create The Golden Eagle Cabinet, a food pantry for students.
Paulding Rotary Club members met last Tuesday at McKenna Farms and joined with McKenna Staff to unwrap and set up the equipment from the grant project. This equipment will be used by McKenna Farm's therapists to improve outcomes for children with special needs.
Fifteen Rotarians from the Paulding County Rotary Club and a number of their family members have just been awarded Paul Harris Fellows for outstanding support of The Rotary Foundation. A Paul Harris Fellow is given in recognition of a gift of $1,000 to The Rotary Foundation, Rotary’s charity.
